❝ Once upon a time... Deep in the fog of Kikyojin Forest, a forest with trees almost as tall as buildings, the Oni known as Kyouriki Arakida was feeling so bored in her lonely life. What was the point of existing if there was no thrill or excitement? She wished she could have someone to, at least, talk to, but the catch is that she had never made any kind of effort to approach any human, and in the few times she did so, they all ran away in fear.She was so bored, she could die! Likewise, she was so frustrated, she could punch anything!
But, one day, everything changed. During one of her strolls, she found a mysterious purple device with the words "Game Boy Advance" engraved upon it, along with a small green rectangle labelled "Pokémon Emerald" inserted on top.

She didn’t know what this thing was, but she started to like it! It took a good while to actually turn it on... and that's when the magic began. A display of music and perfectly arranged colorful images she'd never seen before were bestowed upon her by this magic device——a portable game console.With this new device in her hands, she felt she needed a much-welcomed change of pace, thus Riki decided to mark her leave from the forest and move to the city to enjoy her newfound hobby… even if it meant that she was going to be seen by humans! But, she didn’t care at all. She needed a change of scenery so badly!Upon moving to the neighborhood, she became the talk of the town for a lot of days. Understandably so! It’s not every day that you could see a creature of the country’s folklore walking among men, women, and children! Everyone were forming theories about her true intentions… except that her intentions were far from evil.
